My Story

Hi everyone, friends, family, potential pushers for my walk!

I'm Vicky, I have been going to CPM for over ten years. The centre has done so much for me, its my second family! They helped me move into a new home to be living independently as well as supporting me on holidays and activities. I feel loved at CPM, I have great friends and I've got involved with Tai Chi classes, Wheelchair Dance and a great music group "Being Heard." I might not speak but I'm one of the loudest members at CPM!

So on Sunday 7th April I want to be pushed once again for many many laps around Cannon Hill Park to help support my CPM, Birmingham Phab Camps and Sociability Care firends. We are walking together to shout loud and proud for disbility - well if you know me, shouting loud, I can definately do!!!

Now I know what your thinking - I don't do all the hard work being pushed!!! But I'd like to think that I provide moral support as I go around the park, singing, being merry, giving words of encouragement "Keep Pushing....." "C'mon go faster" and "What's a matter with you, we've no time to rest, I want 20 laps in this year!"

All that moral support takes energy and I'd really like it if you could encourage me and my friends in our Wheel'n'Walk challenge this year, may'be your support will help us even go that extra mile...... Or if you are me, being pushed to go that extra mile!!!! Ha ha ha (I do feel sorry for the pushers - its not easy)

Please support me, donate as little or as much as you can - it all does help Cerebral Plasy Midlands and the great work they do everyday.
